Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. seeks dependable, safety-focused Laborers to support a government-related project in Washington, DC. The Laborer assists with loading, unloading, handling, and transportation of cargo, ensuring safety, efficiency, and professionalism throughout operations.

Qualified candidates will meet pre-employment screenings and background checks. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with standard project compliance requirements and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving, logistics, warehouse operations, material handling, or related work preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compliance with company procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and facility representatives.
• Must comply with all project requirements, including required screenings and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Assist the Driver with the safe loading and unloading of cargo per the load plan.
• Cargo Protection: Use moving blankets, ratchet straps, bins, and packing materials to prevent damage.
• Equipment Handling: Inspect and store moving equipment; ensure it remains in good condition.
• Spotting and Navigation: Act as spotter when backing, parking, or maneuvering the vehicle.
• Documentation and Communication: Maintain professional interactions; assist with delivery docs and signatures.
• Maintenance and Organization: Keep truck interior clean and prepared for the next workday.
