Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience in electrical operations.
• Must possess a Journeyman Electrician License issued by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class 'A' Commercial driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and repairs in City owned buildings.
• Respond at any hour during an emergency when requested.
• Work on call every three or four weeks.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical controls

Ability to diagnose electrical control problems

Ability to understand engineer drawings

Ability to operate light construction equipment

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
