Job summary

Geeks On Site is seeking an experienced On-Call IT Field Technician to support residential and small business customers across multiple U.S. cities. The role focuses on PC, Mac, POS, and TV mounting with flexible scheduling and on-site pay.

You will troubleshoot Windows/macOS, configure networks, printers, and POS systems, and perform hardware upgrades. Outdoor TV mounting is also included, with dispatch support and remote assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of IT support or field service experience.
• Clear understanding of Windows and macOS issues.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
