Geeks On Site is hiring on-call IT Field Technicians to provide on-site and remote support across homes and small businesses. Primary duties include troubleshooting Windows/macOS, networking, printer setup, hardware upgrades, and occasional POS or TV mounting tasks.

Role is a 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling. You receive jobs matching your availability and proximity, with nationwide brand support and remote dispatch assistance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
