Job summary

ProSidian is seeking an On-Call Industrial Hygiene Technician - Construction/Industrial Hygiene (IH103) to support DOE-SRS projects in the Savannah River Site area, Aiken, SC. You will conduct field evaluations for heat strain, dust, fumes, noise, and other hazards, and collect exposure data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of on-call Industrial Hygiene Technician or field-sampling experience.
• Experience with personal air sampling, pump calibration, and chain-of-custody.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/NIOSH sampling practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call IH field support for construction activities and identify hazards.
• Perform personal breathing-zone and area monitoring for silica, dust, fumes, and noise.
• Calibrate pumps, manage media, and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Prepare field summaries and reports for stakeholders.
