Job summary

Le Jardin Academy seeks a Secondary School Substitute Teacher (On-call) for the 2026/2027 year. A Bachelor degree is required; a Master is preferred. At least 3 years teaching experience is required. IB Secondary Year Programme knowledge is a plus.

Strong technology and communication skills are essential. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Daily rate is $160, prorated if not covering a full day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge/experience with the International Baccalaureate Secondary Year Programme is a plus.
• Proficiency with instructional technology and communication tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a Secondary School setting.
• Follow the IB curriculum and school guidelines for substitute teachers.
• Maintain classroom management and student engagement during assignments.
• Communicate with supervising staff and administration as needed.
