Job summary

Hilton Austin is seeking an On-Call/Temporary Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR team through December 31, 2026. This entry-level HR role offers part-time, flexible hours three days per week, with a daytime schedule and duties spanning front desk support, HR operations, and onboarding.

You’ll assist with open enrollment, team engagement, and special HR projects while gaining exposure to Hilton’s renowned hospitality culture and benefits.

Job description

The Hilton Austin is currently looking for an On-Call/Temporary Human Resources Coordinator to join their team through December 31st, 2026. This is a great opportunity to work for a Hilton Corporate Managed property and in an entry level HR position.

  • Three days a week
  • Between 5-6 hours a day
  • Between the hours of 10am-3pm or 10am-4pm, dependent on business needs

Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Provide exceptional front office support: Welcome and assist guests, applicants, and team members with prompt, professional, and courteous service
  • Support daily office operations: Provide administrative support such as word processing, data entry, filing, and copying to support HR department operations
  • Manage communication: Handle phone calls, emails, mail processing, and meeting coordination
  • Team Member Engagement: Assist with recognition, rallies, Team Member holiday parties
  • Benefits: Assist with open enrollment and Team Member survey
  • New Hires: Assist with creating new hire onboarding packets
  • Support special projects: Assist with departmental initiatives or ad-hoc assignments
