Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring for on call Catering Senior Captain at Roper St Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC. The role requires prior catering experience and offers $20.00–$22.00 per hour on an on-call schedule with PRN hours.

Function duties include supervising the catering team, preparing and serving food, and delivering to events. Schedule varies with interviews; benefits available for full-time and part-time positions, and online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees.
• Prepares and serves food at functions under the supervision of the Catering Director.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards at catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
