Job summary

Tapestry Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse in Georgia to provide holistic, skilled nursing care to hospice patients and families outside of normal hours. You will guide patients with dignity and support loved ones during critical moments.

In this role you will perform admissions, follow-up visits, and pronouncements, manage pain and symptoms, educate families, and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to work a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.
• Strong clinical assessment and time-management skills.
• Comfort performing admissions and pronouncements.
• Passion for patient-centered, compassionate care.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate closely with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Perform admissions, follow-up visits, and patient pronouncements.
• Manage pain and symptoms with confidence and expertise.
• Educate patients and families and evaluate outcomes.
• Offer compassionate support to families at the time of death.
• Maintain high standards of clinical competence and professionalism.
