Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse On-Call to support our 24/7 care model in Minnesota. You will respond to urgent needs, complete admissions after hours, and deliver clinical expertise with compassion on a 7 days on / 7 days off overnight schedule.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice, meaningful patient connections, and high-quality end-of-life care while maintaining work-life balance. Relevant nursing experience and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN/MSN).
• 1+ years of acute care experience; hospice or home care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.
• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and document care and outcomes.
