Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking an On Call Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, client-centered care in the homes of seniors and vulnerable adults. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and personal care as needed.

The caregiver will work on-call with a guaranteed 30 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and families in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passion for providing exceptional care to adults at home.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and flexible on-call support to ensure clients receive consistent care.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and families to understand needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals, manage medications, and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Engage in meaningful conversations, play games, and provide companionship to alleviate social isolation.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure seamless care transitions.
