Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a dependable OnCall Caregiver to support clients across the Cleveland West service area. This role offers flexible assignments on short notice across days, evenings, overnights and weekends, with guaranteed pay for 30 hours per week even if you are not scheduled.

You will provide compassionate in-home care, follow individualized care plans, document care, and communicate with the office about shifts and client needs.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable insured vehicle.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and position clients safely.
• Clear background check; eligible to work in the U.S.
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care: companionship, personal care, mobility aid, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Follow care plans and document care using agency systems.
• Communicate shift acceptance, client updates, and schedule changes promptly.
• Maintain boundaries, respect client rights and privacy; uphold standards.
• Drive to client homes across the Cleveland West area; adapt to new routines.
• On-call needs: accept short-notice or same-day shifts, including weekends/holidays.
