Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking an on-call general cleaner to work in various buildings. The role involves completing routine cleaning tasks across different locations and positions as needed. You will support events and maintain high standards of hygiene.

Applicants should be capable of lifting 25–50 pounds and following safety guidelines while delivering dependable cleaning services as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, sinks and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks, countertops and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning after events or meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to company cleanliness policies and procedures.
