Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking an on-call General Cleaner for evening shifts in Rockville, MD. The role requires working across different buildings, performing routine cleaning tasks, and following safety and hygiene standards.

The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating basic cleaning equipment, and assisting with events and meetings as needed. Successful candidates will be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setup and cleanup after events or meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and company hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.90
