AVI Foodsystems is hiring an on-call Food Service Worker to support the Akron/Canton Area Schools. The role covers multiple locations within a 60-minute radius, with typical Monday–Friday hours and limited evenings or weekends.

The position offers a chance to earn extra income while providing friendly, service-oriented support in school dining operations. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, independence, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Analytical and organized approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of hot and cold foods and proper food storage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments and utensils.
• Interact with guests in serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow guest service procedures: smile, eye contact, greet guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following rules.
• Maintain fast pace and multitask while performing duties.
• Willing to drive to different locations within a 60-minute radius.
