You will provide modifications and ensure participant safety while delivering exceptional service. The role requires current group or senior fitness certification and CPR/AED, with 1–2 years of experience teaching senior populations.

Qualifications

• Current certification in group fitness or senior fitness (ACE, AFAA, NASM, SilverSneakers, Aqua Fitness, or equivalent).
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience teaching senior populations preferred.
• Ability to lead safe, engaging classes for older adults.

Responsibilities

Formats include Senior Chair Fitness, Senior Water Aerobics / Aquatic Fitness, Functional Senior Fitness, and additional age-friendly wellness formats. The instructor provides exceptional, personalized service while ensuring programs meet the needs and limitations of older adults.
