Responsibilities

• Sets tables as required and provides drinking water; refills beverages upon guest or server requests.
• Anticipates guest needs and delivers friendly, attentive service while maintaining cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Completes assigned side work and assists servers in attending to guests’ needs and expectations.
• Provides room service—prompt, thorough service to hotel guests and picks up trays.
• Performs opening/closing duties and supports overall dining room operations.

Separates and disposes of waste in proper containers. Moves reusable materials to kitchen or storage.* Inspects materials and sorts items or materials into piles at the dish cleaning area or linen collection area.
