Job summary

NWS — FreshPure Water Systems in Richmond, VA is seeking a Service Technician for on-call/gig work. You will respond to dispatches, diagnose and repair water vending equipment, and file service reports.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering $55/hr all-inclusive with no fixed schedule. A reliable vehicle and hands-on plumbing and electrical skills are essential.

No licensing is required; you will perform on-site visits with quick turnarounds and report back to the home office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience with water lines, valves and fittings.
• Hands-on electrical experience with wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license; smartphone with camera.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail locations.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
