Job summary

Oil States Energy Services is hiring a Tool Maintenance Technician for our Broussard, LA location. The role focuses on performing maintenance on tools and supporting equipment, inspecting operations, and logging repair needs.

You will assist mechanics, rebuild damaged equipment, and ensure proper documentation of tests and work orders. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic reading and English communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 months related experience or training in Oil and Gas preferred.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on tools and supporting equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, check operating conditions, and log repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist mechanics as needed.
• Rebuild damaged equipment and replace parts per specs.
• Assemble and disassemble universal tools.
• Record test results and complete work orders.
• May perform basic inventory and load/unload freight.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklift and overhead crane.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
