Job summary

Form 10 Group, Inc. is seeking a Contract Field Technician in Coral Gables, FL. This 1099 contractor role involves on-call service, installing and repairing hardware, and providing server/software support. Travel to client sites is required; expenses are covered apart from per diem. Strong diagnostic and documentation skills are essential.

You will manage inventory, maintain SLAs, and coordinate with a Region Manager. Relevant certifications and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using and supporting Android mobile devices.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Microsoft Office suite, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills for various types of computers and other electronic equipment.
• Understanding of service level agreements and ability to manage all service aspects of customer issues.
• Experience documenting all levels of service activities and maintaining detailed records.
• Strong inventory management and warehouse operations experience.
• Strong communication skills to simplify technical terminology for customers.
• Ability to work independently and with a team while meeting SLAs.
• High school diploma preferred; security clearances may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install new hardware and perform maintenance and repair.
• Provide system upgrades and replacements as needed.
• Track inventory and assets per company procedures.
• Document service tickets and steps taken in the system.
• Keep customers informed and maintain open lines of communication.
• Assist or lead warehouse and depot operations.
• Track and dispose or recycle equipment and parts as appropriate.
• Lead hardware and software training and development.
• Other duties as assigned.
