Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site repairs, maintenance and installations for hydraulics and related equipment across customer sites in Illinois. You will diagnose problems, perform upgrades, and ensure safety and quality.

Under direct supervision, you will support customers, document findings, and provide technical guidance. The role requires a technical degree and up to three years of related experience, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including repairs and upgrades.
• Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repair or part replacement.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
