Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• One to two years related experience.
• Ability to operate a computer and maintenance software.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred.
• Required to be on call and respond to maintenance emergencies, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment regularly to determine repairs or maintenance.
• Inspect, operate, test, maintain and repair mechanical devices, machinery, equipment and tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and buildings operate efficiently.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Install, assemble, repair and maintain electrical and gas appliances, equipment, systems, and fixtures.
• Paint or repair surfaces, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other building parts.
• Maintain landscaping and snow removal to ensure appearance and safety.
• Fabricate, install, repair, maintain and replace structural items such as counters, cabinets, partitions, tile, gutters, roofs.
• Prepare areas for activities by rearranging furniture and setting up equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors and checking hazards.
• Move heavy furniture/equipment following safety procedures.
• May input work requests in PMWorx.
• Install equipment to improve energy/operational efficiency.
• Attend meetings and training to stay informed.
