Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center (NRCC) is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for residents and staff. You will support daily operations, assist with maintenance tasks, and participate in emergency preparedness as needed.

The role emphasizes ability to lift 50 pounds, teamwork, and reliable performance in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is required, and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Assist with grounds keeping and facility maintenance projects.
• Provide support to the Maintenance Department as needed.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed.
