Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Arizona is seeking On-Call Environmental (Biological) Field Technicians to support our Southwest teams. You will perform biological field surveys, monitor compliance, and collect data for environmental projects, working independently or with teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in Biology or related field and up to two years of field experience. You’ll document wildlife, habitats, and regulatory observations while following safety procedures on diverse outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field required.
• 0 to 2 years of experience; relevant academic fieldwork, internships, research, or other hands-on field experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of biological field survey methods, environmental monitoring procedures, and basic wildlife identification techniques.
• Ability to identify and document local wildlife, vegetation, and biological resources relevant to assigned projects.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations, permit conditions, and construction monitoring protocols.
• Ability to accurately collect, record, and communicate field observations and project data.
• Strong observational, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience conducting biological field surveys, wildlife assessments, or environmental monitoring through academic, internship, or professional settings preferred. Ability to work extended periods in remote outdoor environments, rugged terrain, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities
