Job summary

Cape Fox Concentric Methods is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / First Responders (PRN) to provide on-site safety monitoring and immediate BLS response during USPIS fitness exams. The role offers on-site coverage with three-hour sessions and a base pay plus health/welfare components.

Required EMT-B certification, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of field experience in fitness or occupational settings, with a 401K plan available.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B certification is required.
• 1-2 years of field experience in fitness/athletic/occupational settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down testing environments to ensure safe operations.
• Monitor applicant health status and respond to medical incidents.
• Provide first aid and basic emergency care (CPR, bleeding control, splinting); call 911 if needed.
• Maintain readiness of the first aid kit and supplies.
• Document all medical incidents and coordinate follow-up with medical oversight team.
• Assist in safety checks before and during testing to minimize risks.
• EMT typically works three hours per event; sessions are scheduled in three-hour blocks.
