A safety services organization is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)/First Responders for PRN work in Portland, OR. You will monitor health during physical fitness exams for the United States Postal Inspection Service, respond to medical incidents, and ensure safety during testing. Requires current EMT-B and BLS certifications, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. This role offers $35.71 per hour and benefits including a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current state EMT-B certification is required.
• 1–2 years of field experience responding to medical events in fitness or occupational environments.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dismantle testing environments for safety.
• Monitor applicant health during testing and respond to medical incidents.
• Assess participants for signs of distress and provide care.
• Maintain first aid kit and document all medical incidents.
• Assist in implementing safety measures before and during testing.

Skills

Calm decision-making under pressure

Education
