State of Alaska's Juneau Pioneer Home is seeking an on-call, part-time nursing and direct care aide to provide person-centered support to up to 49 residents. You will assist with lifting, turning, positioning, transfers, and mobility aids, following the resident's care plan in a warm, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration with other staff to provide resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal care to assisted living residents per the Assisted Living Plan.
• Assist residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and with transporting in beds, wheelchairs, baths, lifts, and with walkers/canes.
• Participate in programs that promote physical well-being and meaningful social interaction among residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure safety and adhere to facility policies, reporting changes to supervisors as required.
