SUNRISE CHILDRENS FOUNDATION is seeking an EHS Substitute Teacher for the Las Vegas area, on-call. The role supports the Early Head Start program’s classroom operations, home visits, and overall child development goals under the Center Director’s guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily duties, maintaining a safe classroom, and adhering to health and safety standards. Willingness to work across multiple Las Vegas campuses and complete required trainings is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write English proficiently.
• Ability to gather and interpret moderately complex information.
• Ability to read and understand basic child development materials.
• Patient and tactful communication with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists in completing classroom, center, and home-based duties.
• Works cooperatively with Early Head Start staff and families.
• Maintains safe, neat, organized classroom and visiting areas.
• Participates in developmentally appropriate indoor/outdoor activities.
• Complies with health, safety policies and procedures.
• Understands Early Head Start standards and SCF policies.
