Job summary

Oakland Family Services is hiring Substitute Teachers for the Children’s Learning Center in Pontiac, MI. On-call positions (both part-time and full-time) are available to start in the fall, with hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday based on availability.

The role supports classroom operations, ensures child safety, and helps maintain licensure standards, with possible progression to lead positions based on credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: CDA credential or college coursework in early childhood education.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate, engaging activities.
• Maintain records as required by licensure and accreditation.
• Assist with daily documentation of children's interactions and play.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and coordinate tasks.
