Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an On-Call Dishwasher to support a fast-paced senior living community kitchen with a focus on cleanliness and safety. This full-time role includes a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, typically 7:30am–4pm or 3–9pm, with potential for temp-to-perm conversion.

The position requires washing and sanitizing dishware, pots, and utensils, maintaining FIFO, and ensuring proper storage and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times in accordance with restaurant and health department standards
• Washing and storing pots, pan, utensils and dishware
• Break down boxes and remove along with the garbage
• Fill, empty, drain dishwasher or pot sinks (as applicable)
• Empty grease trap (if applicable)
• Store food products and paper items upon receipt
• Clean sinks and drains daily
• Perform weekly culinary / dishwasher checklist
• Clean all metro shelving
• Clean upright racks
• Clean trash bins when needed
• Clean walk‑in freezer/refrigerator
• Ensure FIFO compliance
• Sweep and mop floors
• Monitor cleaning supplies inventory levels
• FAST PACED work environment
• Periodic lifting up to 30lbs

Schedule: Fulltime - mix of weekdays and weekends, various shifts ie 7:30am - 4pm or 3-9pm (temp to perm potential)

Pay: $22.61 per hour

This role is essential to maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for residents and staff, with responsibilities that uphold strict health and safety standards and involve routine physical tasks.
