Job summary

The Arc Mid Hudson is seeking an On-Call Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community at Livingston residence in Saugerties.

The DSP should have excellent communication skills, patience, organization and a positive attitude to help residents participate in daily activities and community life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must.
• Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
