Job summary

Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland, CA is seeking servers to join our dining services team. You will assist residents with meal selection, present menus, take and relay orders, and help with meal delivery and table turnover in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• English verbal and written communication skills required.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection and ordering.
• Present menu to residents and relay questions and suggestions to the kitchen.
• Deliver meals quickly and assist residents as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for next service.
• Assist with light back of house tasks and general dining room duties.
• Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
