Job summary

Concerto Renal Services in the Greater Chicagoland Area is seeking a salaried On-Call Dialysis Nurse who will be on call five days a week (Mon-Fri plus two Saturdays monthly) with overtime eligibility and travel within the region.

Under a licensed nurse, you will provide direct dialysis care, supervise technicians, monitor patient response, document care plans, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role emphasizes safety, patient education, and regional travel responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current State RN license (or Compact RN license).
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in any practice area.
• Minimum of three months of Dialysis experience.
• BLS Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hemodialysis care, assessments, medications, and patient education on renal health and self-care.
• Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians and supervise their performance, ensuring clinical standards.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans, and document interventions.
• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare team, report critical lab results, ensure treatment continuity.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adherence to safety and regulatory protocols.
