Job summary

Willow Hill School is looking to add to our pool of daily substitutes.

Founded in 1970, Willow Hill School provides a supportive and individualized educational program for middle and high school students who are capable of advancing along a strong academic curriculum but have experienced frustration in earlier school settings. Located in Sudbury, MA our school consists of students in grades 6 through 12.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow and deliver lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment
• Manage student behavior using school-approved policies and strategies
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other school settings as needed
• Uphold all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience directly serving children with learning differences or other special needs in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A problem solver
