Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain safety and cleanliness in our facilities. This role supports the Facilities Department, performing light maintenance and following district policies to ensure a healthy learning environment.

As a non-exempt hourly position with a substitute schedule, the incumbent will handle bathroom upkeep, trash, cleaning tasks, minor painting, and weather-related duties, while complying with all background checks and

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years custodian experience preferred.
• Must have strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and to be on feet for long periods.
• Must pass background and criminal record checks.

Mansioni

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and replenish supplies.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas daily (dust, mop, trash).
• Operate power equipment for cleaning as directed.
• Secure the facility and perform light painting as assigned.
• Shovel/salt walkways and maintain exterior cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
