Job summary

Coquille Valley Hospital in Coquille, OR is seeking a CT/Radiology Technologist for a casual/on-call position. This role supports a growing radiology department under new leadership and requires ARRT registration (R) and CT credentials.

Ideal candidates have Oregon licensure, CPR/BCLS, and at least one year of recent experience with CT or radiography, plus strong English communication and PPE readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school and ARRT registered (R).
• ARRT CT certification required; CT state license in Oregon.
• One year of relevant experience within the last three years.
• CPR/BCLS certification for Healthcare Workers.
• HIPAA training and infection control compliance.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates and adjusts CT and radiologic equipment per procedure.
• Positions patient, selects imaging device and Immobilization aids.
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures.
• Prepares patient for CT or radiographic procedures and assists.
• Monitors patient during procedures and reports changes.
• Maintains radiation safety and documents images in E-Rad.
• Performs general office duties and billing code entries.
