Pace Analytical Services LLC in Plainville, CT is seeking a Courier to support laboratory operations by safely picking up, transporting, and delivering environmental samples and materials.

This part-time, hourly role offers up to 20 hours per week at $18 per hour, with training and opportunities to grow within Pace’s mission to make the world safer and healthier. You’ll review documents, prep vehicles, coordinate with staff, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain licenses.
• Knowledge of safe driving and sample transport principles.
• Ability to follow organizational policies and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review, complete, and process documents and databases for sample pick-up and delivery.
• Prepare vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks.
• Provide support to staff and management related to transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and propose solutions to improve processes.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Contribute to team efficiency and participate in team efforts.
