Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Courier to support laboratory operations by safely picking up, transporting, and delivering environmental samples and materials. This part-time role is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, paying $18.00 per hour.

You will review documents, prepare vehicles, and maintain accurate records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; training will cover safety,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn and follow transportation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Review, complete, and process documents and databases for sample pickup, transport, and delivery.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and recommend solutions to improve processes and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency by offering suggestions and participating in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, customer-focused work environment aligned with Pace values.
