Umatilla County Sheriff's Office in Pendleton, Oregon, seeks a Corrections Officer to enforce facility policies and supervise inmates as part of the daily operations of the corrections division.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years of age, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and odd shifts. A clean criminal history and a valid driver’s license are required. Veterans' Preference may apply, with accommodation available during the hiring process.
SALARY: $29.07/hr- This is a non-benefited position with no hour guarantee

The Corrections Officer shall have the responsibility of following Umatilla County Corrections Division (UCCD) Policies and Procedures governing the general functions of UCCD and its inmates. The Corrections Officer is a sworn position assigned to the Corrections Division by the Sheriff. The Corrections Officer participates in the daily functions of the correctional facility and supervises all incarcerated inmates.
