Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking an On Call Coordinator to handle after-hours call flow, coordinate staffing, and ensure continuity of high-quality care for adults served. This role supports staff and residents in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in the on-call rotation, assist with staffing changes, log calls, and communicate with staff for follow-up. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals preferred (including traumatic brain injuries).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
• Assist with filling staffing cancellations and call-offs during on-call hours.
• Respond to employee and operational inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Log incoming calls and update ScheduleAnywhere as needed.
• Assess the urgency of situations and communicate with appropriate staff for follow-up or resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of staffing and call-related activity.
• Support continuity of care and operations during after-hours coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Role

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of experience working with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals, including individuals with traumatic brain injuries preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to remain organized and respond effectively in fast-paced or urgent situations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to operate computers and other office machinery
• Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to Travel 20%
