Job summary

Lewis Environmental LLC is seeking a Field Services Technician specialized in confined space rescue to perform scheduled and emergency rescue operations. You will follow JSAs, monitor PPE levels, and ensure clear communication with all involved personnel while adhering to all safety rules and OSHA regulations.

Travel may be required for rescue services, and you will be responsible for equipment readiness, proper maintenance, daily notes, and client signatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years’ experience in a related field
• Clean MVR and Criminal Background
• Valid Driver’s License
• Flexibility in personal schedule including weekends and 24 hours on call status
• Strong focus on Safety, Integrity, Accountability, and Quality
• NFPA 1006 Technical Rescuer Certifications
• Emergency Medical Technician or higher is preferred
• Physical ability to lift 60lbs and work with rope systems
• This is a safety sensitive position

Responsibilities

• Follow JSAs and monitor PPE levels (Level D minimum).
• Maintain clear, thorough communication with involved personnel.
• Follow company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Report Health & Safety incidents/near misses promptly and assist investigations.
• Work per Company and Client Policies to meet safety and quality goals.
• Travel may be required for rescue services work.
• Adhere to regulations for handling hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
• Review work plans and equipment needs for efficient project start/finish.
• Maximize use of Lewis-owned resources and proper equipment maintenance.
• Complete daily notes and obtain customer signatures.
• Safeguard confidential information.
• Ensure CSR equipment readiness and maintenance.
• Cross-train as a field services technician during latency with CSR work.
