Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero is seeking an On-Call Concierge to join our luxury hotel team in downtown San Francisco. You will respond to guest requests, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure premium service standards are met at all times.

Must have concierge experience, excellent English communication, and the ability to multitask. Legal US work authorization is required; a flexible schedule and knowledge of local attractions are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous concierge experience and knowledge of surrounding areas and local attractions.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Language skills are a plus; flexible schedule.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary applications.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests with accurate assessment of needs and personal recommendations to maximize satisfaction while following Four Seasons policies.
• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; accommodate requests and resolve complaints.
• Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, hours, key personnel, events, and directions; respond accurately and timely with local knowledge.
• Know activities in the city and establish contacts with vendors to provide information, tickets, and reservations.
• Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail; may perform Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed.
• Ensure standards and guest satisfaction; respond to requests accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Respondsto a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing theguestneeds and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction whilecomplying withall Four Seasons’ policies.

• Handlesall guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints.

• Assistscustomers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-houseeventsand directions.They will respond to all guest requests inan accurateandtimelymannermaking recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.

• Knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.

• This position is also responsible for processing packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.

• The Concierge maybe responsible forassistingwith Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed.

• Ensures standardsare being met,guestsatisfaction is high andresponds to all guest requests inan accurateandtimelymanner

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous concierge experience and great knowledge of the surrounding areas and local attractions.

• Computer literacy and proficiency are necessary including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn proprietary applications at work.
