Job summary

Kare is seeking an On-Call Community Care Aide to assist older adults (55+) in their homes in the Wilkinsburg area. You will help with daily activities, respond to on-call calls, and cover shifts as needed. A reliable vehicle and PA driver's license are required.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent; experience as PCA/CNA/HH A preferred; must work independently with discretion and empathy.

Qualifications

• Experience as a personal care aide, CNA, home health aide or nursing assistant is highly preferred.

On-Call Community Care Aide

Casual Technical East End, Wilkinsburg, PA, US

Salary Range: $16.50 To $18.50 Hourly

Locations:This position covers the Wilkinsburg & Homestead Areas

Shifts Available: On-Call 2p-10p Sat & Sun, OR4pm-10pm Mon-Fri OR6am-2pm Sat & Sun

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr. and up (based on experience) Daily Pay is Available !

Summary:The On-Call Community Care Aide (CCA) is responsible for helping older adults (age 55+) with their activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, dressing, etc) at their place of residence. On-Call CCAs must be comfortable working independently and must be able to quickly respond to changing circumstances. This position requires you to be able to respond to calls and be available to cover care during the on-call timeframe for their designated areas. A reliable vehicle and valid PA driver's license are required.

Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience: Experience as a personal care aide, CNA, home health aide or nursing assistant is highly preferred.
