Job summary

A leading grocery retailer in Scarborough, Maine is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing all HVAC and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, EPA Certification, and a valid driver's license. Duties include overseeing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and communicating effectively with store managers on repairs. This position also involves responding to after-hours emergency calls and requires heavy lifting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. and lift/move 100 lbs. (with assistance).
• Ability to travel daily, throughout assigned region, in company provided work vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or oversee HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
• Inspect and evaluate store areas offering suggestions for improvements.
• Act as an advisor to recommend repairs to store managers.
• Coordinate the day-to-day organization of preventive maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours emergency service calls.
