Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems has an immediate need for a Boiler Technician. The Technician follows preventative maintenance, troubleshoots, tests and repairs boiler controls and system components.

The role requires completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling, 5+ years of commercial A/C experience, and availability for emergency call outs. Must be a team player with a valid driver’s license; Rule 1415 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Available for emergency call outs.
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client's staff.
• Rule 1415 certified.
• EMS experience (Staefa/Siemens) is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and related equipment.
• Monthly testing of safeties.
• Annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
