Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is recruiting an On-Call Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support direct patient care under a licensed nurse. The CNA will assist with vital signs, personal hygiene, and daily living activities while maintaining safety and infection control in a clinic setting.

Candidates must have a valid Nursing Assistant certification, a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BCLS, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Must be flexible to perform a variety of duties as needed.
• Must pass a criminal background check and state abuse/fraud registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents on an ongoing basis to develop a trusting relationship.
• Observe residents and take vital signs as per plan of care.
• Report health issues and changes to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices.
