Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the State of Oregon.
• B.S. or Pharm.D degree.
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter prescriptions, supervise tech staff as needed.
• Resolve clinical questions regarding prescriptions with providers.
• Counsel patients on new prescriptions; acquire Spanish skills to counsel patients solo over time.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) including drug interactions and education.
• Supervise technical staff and pharmacy cashier; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Precept pharmacy students and participate in clinic committees.
• Handle projects assigned by Pharmacy Director.
• Supervise relief pharmacists during Director’s absence.
• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the pharmacy as PIC.
• Handle PHI per HIPAA.
