First Step Communities is seeking a Client Support Associate to join our on-call team in the Sacramento area. You will monitor clients, ensure safety, assist with transitions, and connect people with housing resources while upholding compassionate, reliable service.

Job Title: Client Support Associate (CSA)

On-Call Requirement:
This position is an on-call, as-needed role with no guarantee of minimum or regular hours. Employees are contacted to work shifts based on staffing needs, employee absences, emergencies, increased shelter occupancy, or other operational requirements. Availability to accept assigned shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.
Summary:
Stockton Safe Stay is a sanctioned place for anyone who is experiencing homelessness on the streets of Sacramento. Working as part of a team, CSAs will monitor and direct the clients in all areas of the campus. CSAs are responsible for keeping safety watch, day and night, and performing conflict resolution should issues arise. CSAs are to build a rapport and trust with clients in hopes to get them the resources and services they need in hope to end their cycle of homelessness!
The Stockton Safe Stay is for adults 18 and over and the CSA staff will work mainly as lot attendants at various locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties may vary based on location and shift. Other duties may be assigned.
