Job summary

SAGE PREP in Georgia is seeking dependable substitutes to lead classrooms when teachers are absent. You will arrive on time, follow prepared lesson plans, and keep scholars engaged across infants through Pre-K and our K-5 after-school program.

You’ll provide active supervision during meals, naps, outdoor play, transitions, and arrivals, complete headcounts, and report concerns to the Director. You’ll greet families warmly and help maintain a safe, orderly learning environment that supports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with young children in school, childcare, or classroom setting.
• Flexibility to work with different age groups on short notice.
• Promptly respond to calls/texts by 6:30 a.m. and report ready to work.
• Pass background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Cover classrooms when teachers are absent, from infants through Pre‑K and our K‑5 after school program
• Follow lesson plans and daily schedules
• Maintain proper ratios and classroom routine
• Provide active supervision during meals, nap, outdoor play, transitions, arrival, and dismissal
• Leave clear written notes for the classroom teacher about the day, including activities and concerns
• Greet families warmly at arrival and dismissal
