Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to assist teachers and support students with physical, mental, and developmental delays. This on-call position emphasizes helping in classrooms, preparing materials, and assisting with health-related student needs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience. Availability is required Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–6:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AA degree or higher preferred or acceptable.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor with classroom activities under supervision.
• Prepare instructional materials for lessons.
• Support students individually and in small groups.
• Maintain orderly classroom and playground environments.
• Assist with attendance records and clerical tasks.
